Thanksgiving Lime Jello Mold

Thanksgiving Lime Jello Mold

This recipe is straight from my Mom's age old recipe files. She made it every year on Thanksgiving. You may not think " jello mold" when you plan your Thanksgiving, but honestly, this is pretty yummy.
Ingredients
  • 1 large canned pears
  • 1 package lime jello
  • 6 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 Tables. milk
  • ½ pint whipping cream
Instructions
  1. Drain pears and mash them, saving pear juice from can
  2. Heat 1 cup of the drained juice and pour over jello
  3. Cream the cream cheese with the milk
  4. Combine cheese mixture with jello while still hot
  5. Add mashed pears to jello mixture and set aside to cool
  6. Whip the cream and fold into jello mixture after it is completely cooled
  7. Pour into a jello mold and let set.
